A Higher Place of Ministry

Heb 8:1-3 Now the main point in what has been said {is this} we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,
2 a minister in the sanctuary, and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; hence it is necessary that this {high priest} also have something to offer.

Jesus ministered from the sanctuary - gr hagion - the Holy of Holies.

The Holy Spirit did not continually abide within His people back then as He does now.

from time to time the Holy Spirit would come upon people to bring power.

Judg 14:5 So Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother, and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Now to his surprise, a young lion came roaring against him.
6 And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done.

19 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men, took their apparel, and gave the changes of clothing to those who had explained the riddle. So his anger was aroused, and he went back up to his father's house.

But God desired to DWELL with man that that powerful Spirit would be with them continually.

that place in the old covenant was the Holy of Holies.

Where is this holy habitation now?

Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

From where are we to minister?????

THE HEART

Parable of sower

Luke 8:5-8
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

luke (8:15) But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Keep your heart like a garden

Take the plow blade and BREAK UP THE GROUND (when your heart is broken, it is soft and pliable instead of hard and unchanging)

Ps 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Keep your heart soft (like broken ground) not hard and unchangeable

Remove the rocks and debris, then plant your vegetables

WEEDS WILL GROW = just like in a garden, if "you don't have time to pray, no time to study, no time to pull the weeds, your garden will soon be a mess.
